- XL–XXL, or bust 46–52 inches → size 50
- Not sure, or you want something easy → a free size short kaftan
2. How do you like it to sit?
- Close to the body → size down
- Loose, the way a kaftan is meant to sit → take your size
- Very loose, full swing → size up
3. Long or short?
- Full length, shoulder to ankle → long kaftans
- Hip length, easiest to throw on → short kaftans
- A whole outfit decided for you → kaftan sets
4. Which season?
- Hot weather, everyday → summer cotton
- Travel, low maintenance → crushed cotton
- Evenings and weddings → chiffon, with a slip
