Kashmir has always embroidered its seasons into cloth — chinar leaves in autumn, almond blossoms in spring, paisleys that echo the curves of the Jhelum.
Kashmiri Kaftan works out of Pampore, in Pulwama district, the same saffron town our families have lived in for generations. We take those traditional patterns and put them on pieces you can actually live in: loose, breathable, easy to wash, and comfortable enough to wear all day.
Machine-worked, and we say so
Our kaftans carry traditional Kashmiri Aari and Tilla patterns, embroidered by machine. That is what keeps the motifs even and the price between ₹950 and ₹1,600 rather than many times that.
Hand embroidery is a different craft at a different price. If you want a hand-Sozni piece made to order, message us and we will quote it honestly. We would rather tell you plainly than let you guess.
