Kashmiri embroidered
kaftans, cut loose
and made in Pampore
Kaftans in cotton, crushed cotton and chiffon, carrying traditional Kashmiri Aari and Tilla patterns. Nothing to fasten, nothing that pinches.
Three shapes
Everything we make falls into one of these. Pick the shape first, then the fabric.

Machine-worked,
and we say so
Our kaftans carry traditional Kashmiri Aari and Tilla patterns, embroidered by machine. That is what keeps the motifs even and the price between ₹950 and ₹1,600 rather than many times that.
Hand embroidery is a different craft at a different price. Want a hand-Sozni piece made to order? Message us and we will quote it honestly.
Pick your fabric
Most returns come down to the wrong fabric for the weather, not the wrong size.
| Fabric | Feel | Best for | Care |
|---|---|---|---|
| Summer cotton | Light, breathable, holds its shape | Everyday, real heat | Cold gentle wash, dry in shade |
| Crushed cotton | Soft texture, barely needs ironing | Travel, everyday | Gentle wash, do not wring |
| Chiffon | Featherweight, fluid, sheer | Evenings, weddings | Cold hand wash, dry flat. Wear with a slip |
Not sure which size?
Our sizes are 30, 42 and 50 — that number is the to-fit bust in inches, not a dress size. Short kaftans are free size.
The easiest check: measure a kaftan or kurta you already wear comfortably, lay it flat, and compare. Or send us your usual size and we will tell you honestly which to take.
“Relaxed fit means it drapes rather than grips — size down for a closer line, up for full swing.”

The story behind
Kashmiri Kaftan
We work out of Pampore in Pulwama, the saffron town our families have lived in for generations. The patterns on our kaftans come from here — chinar leaves, almond blossom, the paisley drawn from the river.
We chose shapes people actually wear every day rather than occasion-only pieces, and we describe the embroidery, fabric and measurements plainly so you are not guessing at checkout.
Before you choose
Three short guides that answer what people ask us most.
Questions, answered
Is the embroidery handmade?
The embroidery is machine-worked in a traditional Kashmiri Aari or Tilla pattern. The cutting, stitching and finishing are done by our tailors in Pampore. Hand-Sozni pieces are made to order — ask us on WhatsApp.
What does the size number mean?
It is the to-fit bust in inches. Long kaftans and sets come in 30, 42 and 50; short kaftans are free size. Other sizes can be made on request.
How long does delivery take?
Dispatch within 24–48 hours from Pampore, then typically 3–7 working days across India. Free shipping over ₹299, and Cash on Delivery is available.
Can I return or exchange?
Yes — 7 days from delivery, unworn and unwashed with tags intact. For a size swap, message us on WhatsApp and we will guide it.
Where do I find garment measurements?
Every product page lists chest, length and sleeve in inches and centimetres, measured with the garment laid flat, plus the size of the piece shown.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, on request. Send us your country and postcode on WhatsApp and we will quote the shipping before you pay. Duties in the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility.
